My background is in geography and remote sensing, but my work has shifted firmly toward the infrastructure, platforms, and workflows that make Earth Observation science possible. Rather than doing the data processing myself, I focus on building and operating the cloud-based systems and workflow tooling that let EO scientists run their analyses reliably and at scale. Through European initiatives like openEO and EOEPCA+, and work with the European Space Agency, I help translate complex EO requirements into scalable, FAIR, and interoperable platforms. I'm happiest at the intersection of Earth Observation, cloud infrastructure, and developer tooling.

  • Contribute to projects from the provincial level to Horizon Europe initiatives.
  • Support European initiatives (openEO, EOEPCA+) enabling FAIR, cloud-based EO data processing.
  • Coordinate EOEPCA+ tasks and track progress across the internal development team.
  • Develop new processes and features for satellite data processing in openEO.
